This is an Ethereal Song requiring a ready supply of fluid. Performer can 'pick up' a fist sized ball of a liquid, typically water, which will cohere as a solid sphere whilst in the hand and being thrown. It does no damage but is very distracting! If wearing protective gloves other Gimels may be thrown in this manner egs concentrated fuming nitric acid, liquid oxygen, napalm,...

Generation Notes: Merely planned as a 'close personal friend' of Jeanette Vertedente but just grew before my eyes into the 'Master' of the situation. With no Disabilities the Vampiric problems are really mere window dressing. 'inconveniences' rather than debilitating Discords. Note that according to The Art™ despite the addition of three additional Infernal forces Professor Merrow can maximally host only six points of Essence; presumably due to the failure of the Force binding Gimel.

Born in the latter part of the 19th century with exceptional potential "Doctor Jack" was already a powerful English Sorcerer and Necromancer before being recruited by Saminga and given his first Infernal Force. This process quadrupled his Will and firmly set him on his Fate. Chased out of London due to a scandal involving prostitutes and cadavers he moved to Cairo to study the Gimels of the ancient Egyptian Necromancers, assuming the name "Dr. Jaques." During this century he 'retired' twice from public view but always had a younger protégé to follow in his footsteps. His advancement in Cairo society paralleled his rise in the Sorcerous Cabal underpinning (undermining!) the City. Later in his career a Pact with Hatiphas gave him another Infernal Force, stripped in front of his eyes from yet another Demonic bungler! Now with the Will to back up his demands it was finally worthwhile undertaking the serious study of Sorcery. Hatiphas has provided help and encouragement to accelerate his studies. Naturally this has taken considerable time and effort and estranged Professor Marcus from his original Superior.

(This latter process, instigated by Kronos, was a means to prise this powerful Corporeal away from Saminga's entourage.)

Acquiring a 3rd Infernal Force proved his downfall. Although it was successfully bound the Gimel was imperfect. Hatiphas and Kronos both investing considerable energies in binding this new patchwork of Forces into a semi-stable configuration. The catalyst proved to be his Elemental Servitor a powerful Naiad (Primal Spirit of Water) whom he had summoned and bound many decades previously. Calling itself "Isis of the Nile" he is convinced that this is a Remnant of the once great Elder Goddess. (He is nearly right!) During the desperate hours when Hatiphas and Kronos were trying to save their 'Mole' they expended several of this Elemental Spirit's Ethereal Forces as part of their Psychic Surgery.

[Whilst they were thus distracted the real Isis was able to use her Eye to remotely implant an 'accidental' Soul Link/1 attached to one of these Ethereal forces using a thaumaturgic "Trojan Horse Virus" that predated the original Trojan Horse! Unbeknownst to the Infernals and Dr Marcus, this is a reverse Soul Link and thus a handle for both Isis and Isis of the Nile on the behaviour of Dr Merrow. Although the Forces are bound only six of them are active for the purposes of retaining Essence, the other three just "leak away to the Symphony" (Isis' Essence Pool). Additionally his body has been irreparably damaged and requires a special Gimel merely in order to maintain the status quo.
