As an Elder God of a venerable Pantheon, the three aspects of Nephthys innately know all the Corporeal and Ethereal versions of the Songs in the "Common Book of Psalms" (i.e. in the original rules). In common with most other Elder Gods they all have access to all three Realms of the Song of Spirit Speech/3

Each twin however specialises according to her inclination:

It took ages to learn and she tried it once without Isis' help.

(Her one and only attempt.) The original idea was to convert herself into a powerful Lilim with 20 Forces. However she was in two minds about the process, with disastrous results. Instead she gave immediately gave Gimel to identical twin Lilim: one Dark and one Bright. Losing all of her Celestial and Corporeal Forces and over half of her Ethereal Forces on the spot! Some emergency celestial surgery was required by 'Sis and Lilith, embedding one Ethereal Force into each Twin to maintain a link between her three disparate selves. 'Sis reckons that you need to be a Celestial and a Virtuoso to Sing this Song properly. Now she just 'uses' it for the +2 bonus on the Corporeal and Ethereal versions.

Rites: In theory those of Malphas, in practice: None. Always in the shadow of her older Sister, Nephthys always had few worshippers. Instead she nick borrowed Essence from Big 'Sis' pool whenever she needed an expensive new outfit.

Generation Notes: First cards in order were Judgement, Death and the Devil followed by the Ace of Wands and then the Ace of Swords but then Nephthys was always the unlucky one! Then a run of Enhancements and Major Arcana before the Pattern was generated with only one discard!

The Mimeses reflect her divided nature.

IN Note OK Eight Forces plus Eight Forces plus Five Forces equals 21 but when you have a Big Sister you can always round up!

*Her Corporeal Mimeses represent the Ethereal Persona being fought over by the Celestial and Infernal Eyes. As well as the Vessel that Nephthilia is using in her guise of Saint Nephthia of the Resurrection!

*Note: After Nephthys' 'little Gimel' with the Celestial Song of Creation (See above) it took Isis and Lilith several subjective months to patch her back together adding a Corporeal and Celestial Force (§) to stabilise her naked Ethereal form and re-allocating two Ethereal Forces(*) to maintain a bond between the three separate persona. The three personae of Nephthys are like the Three Faces of Eve. Nephthys is effectively suffering from a very bad case of multiple personality disorder with acute schizophrenia. Her main Ethereal personality (Will: 2) being controlled by either her Good Eye (Will: 5) or her Bad Eye (Will: 7). Her Ethereal Spirit is currently under the personal supervision of Imhotep in a padded corner of the Far Marches. All three know everything about one another but the Gimel strictly compartmentalises this information. Her Heavenly 'sister' Nefina is being kept under close surveillance by Mayet (Maiel) and Lilith is keeping a distant watching brief on Nephthilia as a 'favour' to Isis. (Lilith hopes that if all goes according to plan there will soon be no more Lilim of Death anyway!) Nephthilia on the other hand revels in the role of a Dark Nec-Romantic Enchantress!
