The folllowing table is an ad hoc mixture of exotic worlds and exotic life forms. Naturally excluding the ubiquitous Rockball:  the generic 'Terrestrial' Type of world located in the Goldi-Shell where water is wet and the sophonts are too.

	Wands	HellBall generally a cis-solar planet located in the Pyro-Shell and usually a giant rockball with a deep gravitational well and thick atmosphere. Also included in the category are the smaller Rockballs with dense volcanically outgassed atmospheres. Super-volcanos, earthquakes and other tectonic events are countered by the high pressure chemistry and corrosive weather.
	Pentacles	IceBall generally a moon of a Gas Giant located in the Cryo-Shell but sometimes freely orbiting planet. Iceballs generally have a Methane-Ethane hydrosphere and active Ammonia-Water driven plate tectonics although there are more exceptions than examples...
	Cups	Ice Giant an outer Gas Giant with a deeply cold atmosphere. Some Gas Bag civilisations have made it to these worlds but they are generally too cold even for them!
	Swords	Gas Giant a Gas Giant with enough heat to support life but not enough mass to become a Brown Dwarf. The table below lists the six Gas bag cultures  in current contact with humanity although there is no doubt there are many others.

		The first seven are aquatic or, at least, what passes for water. Liquid  hydrogen, helium, methane, ammonia,... sulphur, silica (lava).

Their Iceball worlds seem to have been habiformed and maintained by the limited ecosystem of the Jakket; the products of their internal digestive processes and the farmed 'cryokelp' beds that are their only source of nourishment and the only other living organism.

V	The Heirophant	Marine Worm (Sea Cucumber)		Silosibites evolved on Silos - a fast rotating variable (heavy to very heavy) gravity planet with Methane Oceans and a Hydrogen Ammonia Atmosphere. These hydrogen breathers resemble a cross between a well cooked lobster and a hungry caterpillar with a head at both ends! The brain/ notochord processes visual and sensory information from both ends and obtains stereoscopic vision and sound by curving into a u-shape. Each head is bracketed by four radiate pincers and the one metre body is supported by sixteen stumpy pedicels. Although evolved from a Sea Worm the Silosi are now mostly ground based but can absorbe hydrogen whilst fully immersed.
VI	The Lovers		Polonian A symbiotic partnership these cool XTs seem to be the fusion of two previously evolved species. The exterior organism is akin to  the generic Gas Bag using 'hot' hydrogen as a lifting agent Normally inhabiting Iceballs with denser than average Nitrogen/ Methane/ Ammonia atmospheres. Inside the bag is a hydrogen breathing minikin that performs various higher order tasks such as repair and... Combined these XTs are resilient and resourceful
VII	The Chariot		Insiders highly chlaustrophobic the exact nature of these hppercold Iceballers is conjecture With liquid helium  for blood and a photoelectric based biochemistry these space going cuttlefish are arely encountered anywhere but deep space and shadowed deep space at that

IX	The Hermit	Marcrocellular (Amoeboid)		Hophaa a silicon based lifeform resembling psychadelic Persian carpets, the outer 'cell wall' being covered in chromatophores which they use for their complex visual communications. Although used to enormous temperatures and pressures the Hophaa can be depressurised down to Tnorm conditions and they are able to incorporate nucleothermal heaters so as not to freeze. Naturally they are expert tunnellers and the most efficient asteroid miners in KS. Fortunately for everyone else they are heavily unionised and wiill enter into binding agreements to 'go slow'. (If the terms are good!)

O	The FOOL

Cecilians are one of the rare examples of the XC sophont that possess near hominid status. Appearing, at first glance, to be ~2 metre tall tiger striped ursoids. (In reality downy feathered pseudo-raptors.) Their faces are dominated by giant loris like eyes with horizontal slits required for the the poor illumination and see well into the infra red. Ears are large and designed to radiate heat as well as hear in the low pressure atmosphere. There is no nose. Instead a fringe of chemosensory tendrils surroiunds the mouth - usually covered with a moist cloth to keep from drying out. Both hands are slim and delicate with an outer thumb and three fingers tipped with bright blue claws. The feet are spatulate and feet have spatuTheir reproductive system is however quite bizzare. The male impregnates the female who briefly gestates an egg. Once enclosed in a hard leathery shell the female then 'introduces' it via a non lethal ovipositor into third (fortunately) non-sentient host where it hatches and feasts...


Cecila is the second planet orbiting around the red dwarf (M₂) star "Ubu". Average equatorial temperatures are around - 60 ° and its principle atmospheric constituents are nitrogen with 20% ammonia and just enough oxygen to allow humans to die slowly. In a close parallel to Mars the low gravity meant the world was slowly losing its atmosphere and hydrosphere... Until the Terries arrived and decided to habiform it back again  Unfortunately the atmpspheric processors were too efficient and the planet is now undergoing a greenhousing of ferocious proportions catastrophic changes to the climate and rises in sea levels. To make matters worse the low tectonic activity means that there are few mountains to provide shelter and the lack of high ground means the entire planet is slowly turning into a swamp.
Since the autochthones are a hardy desert people Terry/Cecilian relations is going from bad to worse.
