Some Telegares are "Portals": fixed connections between two locations.  The  "Gates" are more flexible with multiple selections. Some lead to remnants of previous Galactic Civilisations others merely pose more questions about previouse *Cultures.

All are provided as examples as a means to enable Interstellar exploration without the need for an FtL Drive. D/Ms may 'pick and mix' as they see fit, according to the nature of their campaign.

Bifrost Portal (Phobos) connects to middlin' sized IceBall 'Bifrost' a highly eccentric TNO in the Kuiper Belt. The transfer is incompatible for "Rockballers" (Species evolving on the inner planets) as it fails to transmit elements higher than iron in the perioodic table. Believed to be an observation post for CryoSpp. (Beyonders?) monitoring activities on Mars during the Noachian Period.

Asherah Portal (Azores) Destroyed c.100,000 BCE. An aquatic portal  that once linked Terra to AlphaCent II: "Tiamat" home to a selection of non intelligent cetacean species, most of whom were extinct by the time the first Belter Ark reached AlphaCent! Thought to be constructed by the Eosians.

Astarte Portal (Beta Canum Venaticorum IV: "Dagon" to AlphaCent II: "Tiamat")
Another Eosian Preserve home to highly intelligent (genetically enhanced?) dolphins, orcas, and sperm whales; as well as a broad spectum of terrestrial sea life. All have stories (songs)  crediting  the "shining ones" for their exodus and hence survival as a species. The dolphins seem to know more...


Zoroaster Gate (Iraq) Lost (Stolen?)  in 573 C.E. thought to be the point of departure for the three pre-interstellar human colonies discovered (so far)... "Ormazud" (51 Pegasii III), "Ahriman" (72 Herculis) and "Zoroaster" (47 Ursae Majoris). All three planets show clear evidence of habiforming and include a broad spectrum of  terrestrial species.


The Star Well aka  "Emme Ya" (Sirius) Eosian
Artifact and Gate. Discovered (2115 C.E.) at the control core of an artifactual habitat in orbit aroud Sirius B, designed to contain viable populations of 17 species of Hominid from H. habilis to H.sap (members of an ancent Dogon liniage!).

The Star Well has links to 4 other biological 'anthropological' repositories containing the lineage of  recently intelligent species: Locations 2 bright stars 1000 and 5000 lytes distant a type B sGiant in the  Hercules Cluster Andromeda ranging from Alcyone to a complex in close orbit around a black hole in the Andromeda Galaxy!

Tsiolkovski Gate (Farside Luna) Discovered 2034 C.E. Artifactual opening into a static volume of Space₄ aka "Phase Space". Discovered under the lava flows of the eponymous crater. Partially explored. Purpose unknown.
