Religion has its part to play in any *Culture: each Sect with a take on 'salvation'. Encountering alien species with deeply held religious beliefs and species with a 'God Like' understanding of the Cosmos; have blunted most traditionally held humanocentric beliefs: notably their relationship with the First Principle. The first seven are the principle human religious sects (and their underlying theology),..."

Futuristic Faiths In the D/M's Campaign, the division between Mystic (Psi?) Powers and Priestly (Theurgic?) Powers should be deliberately vague. The examples provided below are primarily for the use by D/Ms for a quick injection of that 'good old time religion'... These Faiths are also confused as to whether their miraculous powers are internally derived Psychic energy or channelled from the First Principle, Primal Cause,... or any one of the Living Gods...
The first seven are generalised religious sects - tenuously based on human equivalents (along with their underlying theology). These broad 'churches' have many culturally distinct Congregations. The second tranche are fringe cults with devoted followers and strange rituals. The last seven are schisms - really strange offshoots (or outcasts) of mainstream religions.

Otherwise it is doomed to be endlessly recycled in this reality. The only salvation is Stoicism and Asteism. Extreme forms of privation: starvation, celibacy, abstinence, and general denial. This Cult uses sensory deprivation in zero-gee is one of their tools of conversion.
